He started his career as an electrical wiring technician and later started a business in electrical wiring services. He has many years of experience in electrical wiring projects. He was one of the co-founders of STSB and has been crucial to the success of the Company since then. He, Tan Cheik Eaik and Tan Ai Jiew who are the major shareholders and Directors of the Company are siblings. He has no conflict of interest with the Company and had no convictions for offences within the past 5 years other than traffic offences, if any
